What does online ticket sales cost?
An honest overview

Pricing models of ticket platforms are not always transparent. At DN Ticket they are. We explain exactly what the buyer pays, what you as an organiser pay, and what it costs if you want to rent hardware.

Service fee

The buyer

Visitors pay a small service fee on top of the ticket price. This is standard across all ticket platforms. You set the ticket price — the service fee is automatically added on top for the buyer.

In your dashboard you can see exactly what visitors pay and what you receive. There is no difference between what you set and what gets paid out. The full ticket price you determine is yours.

What does ticket sales via DN Ticket cost for the organiser?
For you as an organiser, it's free. You pay no monthly subscription, no percentage of your revenue and no setup costs. You create a free account and can start selling immediately.
Who pays the service fees?
By default the buyer pays a service fee per ticket on top of the ticket price you set. You can also cover the service fee yourself, so visitors only pay the ticket price. You choose this per event. You always receive the full ticket price — nothing is deducted from your revenue.
Are there hidden costs at DN Ticket?
No. As an organiser you pay nothing for the software. Optional hardware rental (scanners, walkie-talkies) is booked separately and the price is agreed clearly in advance.
When are ticket revenues paid out?
You choose whether you want to be paid out weekly or monthly. After the event, the remaining balance is processed as quickly as possible.
What does it cost to rent scanners?
QR scanners can be rented via DN Ticket for €120 per device per weekend. That is all-in: including preparation, shipping and SIM card, plus installation and support. Walkie-talkies and cash register units are available on request. See the full overview on the rental page.
Do I need a KVK (Chamber of Commerce) registration to get started?
No. You can create a free account right away and set everything up without KVK details. Before your ticket shop opens and you can receive payments via iDEAL, we verify your business details: you provide your KVK number and a recent KVK extract, and once approved everything goes live.
Can I try DN Ticket first?
Yes. Via the live demo you're logged straight into a fully populated demo environment — no account needed. You'll see a real dashboard with orders, revenue and scans, and you can place a test order in iDEAL test mode.
