1. Scope
This privacy policy applies to event organisations using the platform, and to visitors and ticket buyers who purchase tickets via DN Ticket.
DN Ticket is solely a technical platform and is not responsible for the content, proceedings, safety or quality of events. Further information on the limitation of liability and the division of responsibilities between DN Ticket, organisers and visitors is set out in the Terms & Conditions (e.g. Article 13).

3. What personal data do we process?
3.1 For organisations:
Company name, address details, email address, phone number, names of contact persons, invoicing and payment details.
3.2 For visitors and ticket buyers:
First and last name, email address, payment details (processed via Mollie), and any additional details requested by the organiser.
4. Purposes of processing
4.1 For organisations:
Creating and managing customer accounts, processing and paying out ticket revenues, invoicing, communication and customer service.
4.2 For visitors:
Processing orders and payments, generating and sending tickets, access and verification at events, customer service and fraud prevention.
5. Payments
Payouts to organisers take place by default every 30 days. Visitor payments are processed via Mollie. Mollie's privacy policy can be found at www.mollie.com/en/privacy. Mollie is certified as a PCI DSS Level 1 service provider and is based within the EU.
6. Legal bases (GDPR)
DN Ticket processes personal data on the basis of the following legal grounds:
- Consent of the data subject
- Performance of an agreement
- Compliance with legal obligations (including tax legislation)
- Legitimate interest (fraud prevention, customer service, business operations)
7. Retention periods
- Organisation data: duration of the agreement plus 7 years (fiscal retention obligation).
- Visitor and ticket buyer data: up to 2 years after the event has taken place.
8. Sharing of personal data
Data is only shared with: Mollie (payment processing, EU-based), event organisations (necessary visitor data) and IT and hosting partners within the EU. DN Ticket never sells personal data to third parties. No transfer of data to countries outside the EU or EEA takes place.
9. Security
DN Ticket takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. All connections are encrypted via TLS. Data is only accessible to authorised personnel. All personal data is stored exclusively on servers within the European Union, primarily in the Netherlands, with backup in Germany and redundancy in France.
10. Rights of data subjects (GDPR)
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Rectification of incorrect data
- Erasure of data
- Restriction of processing
- Data portability
- Object to processing
Requests can be submitted via info@dnticket.nl. DN Ticket responds within four weeks. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (www.autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
11. Changes
DN Ticket may amend this privacy policy. In the event of material changes, data subjects will be informed via the website or by email.
